I was a kid growing up in the 1960's.  My grandfather - at the time a photographer (and police officer) for the Newark, New Jersey police department - taught me the art of picture-taking, film processing, printing and developing photographs, as well as creating home movies with our "Kodak Brownie" 8mm movie camera.

I became the photo editor of our high school newspaper. My dad helped me build a photographic darkroom in the basement of our New Jersey home, and I became the official photographer and filmmaker in the family.  If you didn't find me in the darkroom (of course with all my homework completed), I was busy gathering neighborhood friends to create movies. 

 

In college, I had the chance to write and produce a television program for one of my classes - a parody of a game show with two commercials. This had been an idea of mine since high school, and the opportunity to create it presented itself in college.  My professor invited all his classes in to view the show - over 100 people. The grand prize of this mock game show was in fact, my professor, and his involvement as the "prize" was potentially embarrassing.  I knew I was either going to get an "A" for the program or piss him off and fail miserably. Thankfully, he loved it.​​

I bought my first video camcorder in 1987, and in 1988 I videotaped a friend's wedding at his request.  He and his family loved the video, and as they say, the rest is history. With over 37 years of professional videography experience, my goal is to create video recordings that you will love for years to come. We believe recordings should reflect who YOU are. We create videos with "personality", not just splashy effects. When creating a keepsake, this is the "extra" that makes it unique and priceless. You work directly with me, the owner.
